1st Annual Mike Seneca Golf Classic

  Mike Seneca was diagnosed with Stage IV Signet Ring Adenocarcinoma on September 4th, 2008. His physicians  believe the disease started in his stomach and metastasized to his brain, bones, bladder, and lungs before even knowing he had cancer in his body. Dan Fogelberg Tribute Concert

On August 28, 2010 CCHL hosted a Dan Fogelberg Tribute Concert for all the "Dan Fans" in the Peoria area and around the USA. (including Alaska!) Uncorked! is a Wine & Premium Craft Beer Tastingwas held October 16th at the Embassy Suites Hotel in East Peoria! There were over 20 local wine and food vendors in attedance. The Kevin Moletti Trio entertained us throughout the night with their great music. A variety of unique silent and live auction items were donated for our benefit. The event raised over $70,000. Pedal The Prairie

Pedal the Prairie is a recreational bike run and walk for the entire family. The event started at Connor Company, located on Pioneer Parkway and continued on the beautiful Rock Island State Trail. Participants rode their bikes or walked many different distances, depending on their comfort level. Door prizes and raffles were presented at the end of the event. The Cancer Center for Healthy  teamed up with the Peoria Cancer Foundation to present "On Top of the World" featuring Sean Swarner, the first cancer survivor to climb Mount Everest. Sean continues to go on adventures that inspire and raise cancer awareness all over the world. Sean spoke about his cancer journey where he beat the odds not once, but twice with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis (in which both times he was told that it would be terminal).
